Darren Jones, MP for Bristol North West, has visited the NAPIT Training Centre in Avonmouth to see the work being done to train and upskill electricians and installers of low carbon technologies.

A team of enthusiastic employees from NAPIT, led a successful sponsored walk on the newly waymarked Bolsover Loop on Friday, May 23. The sponsored walk raised money for mental health charity Samaritans, while celebrating the opening of the newly waymarked route through the stunning Bolsover countryside.

NAPIT welcomes the introduction of new legislation in Northern Ireland making electrical safety checks a legal requirement for landlords of properties let under private tenancies. The Electrical Safety Standards for Private Tenancies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024 will come into force from April 1, 2025.
