NAPIT Launches New Electrician Qualification Pathways Quiz

Back to Article Listing

NAPIT have launched a new Electrician Qualification Pathways Quiz, designed to help you check whether you hold the qualifications required to become a NAPIT member or expand the range of work you or your business can undertake.

NAPIT has created the pathways quiz to make the process clear from the start. Whether you already work in one of these technologies, are looking to upskill or if you’re wanting to become a NAPIT member, the quiz can help you check whether you hold the mandatory qualifications required for your chosen pathway.

Upcoming changes to the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS) and the Mandatory Technical Competencies (MTC) requirements will clarify the qualifications needed for technologies such as EV charging, Solar PV and Electrical Energy Storage Systems.

Both NAPIT members and non-members can do the quiz, which guides you through the various pathways available to you – concluding on either the right course based on your experience and career goals, or providing you with the information that no further developments within yourself/business are required.

If you're an existing NAPIT member use the quiz to find out whether you already hold the qualifications needed to add technologies such as Electric Vehicle charging, Solar PV or Electrical Energy Storage Systems to your electrical membership.

If you are a non-member and want to become a NAPIT member, take the quiz to find out whether your current qualifications meet the requirements to join.

Brett Forster, Technical and Commercial Director at NAPIT, said: “If you are brand new to the industry or plan to upskill from allied trades, the training pathways can kick start that journey.  The tool will help guide you to the most suitable starting point based on your experience and goals.”
