This September, NAPIT is encouraging members to use the NAPIT Knowledge Hub CPD platform to refresh their understanding of safe isolation and support the important #Safe4September campaign. The #Safe4September campaign raises awareness of safe isolation, which is incredibly important all year round.

WATT’s CURRENT with NAPIT podcast is back with a brand-new series which will kick off today, September 3rd, with a new episode released every other Wednesday through to the end of the year.

NAPIT Senior Technical Advisor, Frank Bertie, will join the judging panels for the Electrical Safety Roundtable Above and Beyond Awards 2026. The Above and Beyond Awards recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations who go above and beyond their legal duty and strive to enhance and improve electrical safety within the workplace.

Frank Bertie retires as Managing Director at NAPIT. Frank served as Managing Director for two years, following over 32 years as Technical Director.

To help support landlords and tenants, the Electrical Safety in Social Housing Sub-Group has created an EICR Fact Sheet. The fact sheet explains what an EICR is, satisfactory and unsatisfactory outcomes, details on C1, C2, C3 and FI codes and examples that a tenant may see in the report.

NAPIT has announced that Frank Bertie will retire as Managing Director at the end of June 2026 when Stephen Melton will be appointed to the role.
