Description
This course will give you knowledge of the key changes to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 Amendment 4 of The Wiring Regulations and ensure you have the understanding to comply with the industry required qualifications for the 18th Edition Regulations.
This will enable you to understand the appropriate changes for a variety of installations and locations.
What will you learn on this course?
During the 1 day course, you will be shown how to effectively interpret and implement the new changes to BS 7671:2018.
This course is based on BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 Amendment 4 of The Wiring Regulations and culminates with a two-hour multiple-choice online examination, externally set by City & Guilds (2382-26).
The course will cover changes in the following areas
• Scope, object and fundamental principles
• Definitions
• Assessment of general characteristics and earthing arrangements
• Protection for safety to include basic and fault protectio
• Selection and erection of equipment
• Inspection and testing
• Special installations and locations
• Use of appendices.
On successful completion of this examination you will be awarded a City & Guilds certificate
Who can attend?
This one-day course covers the changes from the 18th edition of the regulations.
You must have a good knowledge of this British Standard, with good referencing skills and wish to gain information relating to the key changes to the IET Requirements for Electrical Installations to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 Amendment 4 of The Wiring Regulations.
