This course offers the opportunity to join the renewables industry by working with electricians to install Solar PV arrays, covered in 1 day.
The course covers (over 1 day):
- Safe Working at Heights
- Building Regulations
- Legislative requirements, risk assessment and working at height requirements
- Setting out the system
- Attaching anchor points, rails and Solar PV panels to tiled roofs
- Maintaining the roof integrity
Course Materials
- Candidates must bring PPE to wear for the practical element of the course
- Although there are no prerequisites to attend this course, candidates will need knowledge and experience in roofing
