Ventilation & Air Conditioning

Which Scheme is right for you?

Self certify your work with our range of Ventilation & Air Conditioning Scheme options.

It is a legal requirement that certain work should be notified to, and approved as being compliant with, the Building Regulations. CPS membership will allow your and your operatives to self-certify that your work complies with the Building Regulations in England and Wales, saving you and your customers the time and money that would otherwise be involved in using Building Control (e.g. submitting a building notice or have local authorities carry out an inspection).

If you work in the ventilation and air conditioning sector, you may wish to join the Competent Person Scheme (CPS) (allowing you to self-certify in accordance with Part F and Part L of the Building Regulations) and the Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM).

For a list of financial incentive schemes which apply to ventilation and air conditioning technologies, please visit OFGEM’s website for more information

Identify the activities which are relevant to you in the table below to determine the corresponding schemes.
