NAPIT and Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service, along with support from other organisations within the industry have initiated an Electrical Fire Safety Campaign which will run from the 30th November – 6th December 2020, following on from the National Electrical Fire Safety Week.

NAPIT has launched a new and enhanced insurance and risk management offering for members through NAPIT Insurance. Originally established in 2005, the aim of NAPIT Insurance is to provide members with access to advice that is relevant for their specific line of work and will help them protect their business.

The IET and BSI (British Standards Institution), who co-publish BS 7671, have now issued the Draft for Public Comment (DPC) for Amendment 2, giving the electrical industry the opportunity to read through the proposed changes and provide feedback ahead of publication. The DPC period runs from 21st September to 11th December 2020.

NAPIT have postponed all 2020 NAPIT EXPO Roadshow dates due to restrictions with the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision has been made to protect the safety of our members, visitors and staff at these uncertain times.
