Description
The course is designed to provide practicing installers the skills and knowledge required to determine the most appropriate Heat Pump system for an installation and, through consultation with the client about their needs and demands, install any of the common Air Source or Ground Source Heat Pump in a safe and effective manner.
The heat pump installer course will demonstrate your ability to install and maintain Heat Pump Systems. The course is aimed at candidates with experience (5 years or more) in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, an NVQ level 3 in plumbing, heating engineering or equivalent. It is also open to those in the process of gaining these qualifications.
The course is designed to provide practising installers the skills and knowledge required to determine the most appropriate heat pump for an installation and through consultation with the client about their needs and demands, install any of the common ground source or air source heat pump types in a safe and efficient manner.
The course is assessed via both practical and theory examinations.
