This regulated qualification is for those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial locations.
The qualification has been designed in conjunction with the Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation IET Code of Practice 5th edition, BS 7671:2018+2:2022 Requirements for Electrical Installations and current industry requirements.

This level 3 award covers the underpinning technical requirements for the installation of electric vehicle charging points. If you are already a fully qualified electrician conversant in inspections and testing and the wiring regulations and wanting to gain a nationally recognised qualification that will demonstrate your competence in this fast growing sector.

Solar Photovoltaic & Electrical Energy Storage Systems Courses
SOLAR PV
This course is for experienced electricians wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of small-scale grid tied photovoltaic systems. This qualification is based upon the National Occupational Standards as published by industry and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join the scheme.
EESS
This qualification is for those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the design, installation and commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (Battery Storage). The qualification has been designed in conjunction with the latest IET Code of Practice and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
SOLAR EESS
This course is for experienced electricians wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of small-scale grid tied photovoltaic systems and the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical energy storage systems. The course includes generic industry practices involved with these technologies (not manufacturer specifics).
This qualification is based upon the National Occupational Standards as published by industry, it has been designed in conjunction with the latest IET Code of Practice and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join the scheme.
