Description
Compliance with the Water Supply Regulations 1999 is a legal requirement that must be observed when installing a range of water fittings and associated systems.
This course will give you the theoretical knowledge to comply with these Regulations and is a pre-requisite for the Heat Pump Courses.
What will you learn on this course?
The course is assessed by a multiple choice theory assessment.
This course covers over 1 day you will receive classroom training in the following areas:
- The Water Regulations including the status and the requirements of the installer and the ‘undertaker of the water fittings’ design and installation’
- The regulation’s structure, background, and legislation
- Commissioning
- Backflow prevention and hot and cold systems
Who can attend?
No prerequisites required. However, it is strongly advised that candidates undergo thorough personal study of the BPEC manual which will be supplied prior to attendance, as a full understanding of this content will be necessary for successful completion of this course.
