NAPIT is looking for a well-rounded Electrical Tutor to join our Training team at our Potters Bar training facility.

The Role

As an Electrical Tutor, you will deliver high-quality, technically focused electrical training to a wide range of customers and clients using course materials, presentations and assessments developed by the NAPIT technical development team.

The role is based at our Potters Bar training facility and offers a varied working environment for someone who thrives on combining electrical knowledge with training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver NAPIT-specific training courses to a wide range of customers and clients using materials, presentations and assessments developed by the technical development team.
• Ensure all training delivery complies with relevant legislation and is provided within a non-discriminatory, diverse and inclusive environment that is respectful of delegates and accessible to all.
• Undertake course development activities as required.
• Support the continued development and improvement of the NAPIT electrical training provision.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and within your level of competence.

Who We Are Looking For

• A relevant, time-served electrician with extensive industrial, commercial and domestic experience in electrical installation or maintenance.
• Experience within the electrical training sector, which may include employment with a private training provider or within Further Education.
• Experience delivering Level 3 or higher electrical qualifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to engage with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.
• A professional, organised and supportive approach to training delivery.
