NAPIT have announced the release of a brand new publication: Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.

NAPIT's On-site Solutions publication has been crowned a Professional Electrician & Installer 2020 ‘Top Product’ award winner. This is NAPIT’s second publication to win the award after EICR Codebreakers also won back in 2018.

NAPIT has launched a new and enhanced insurance and risk management offering for members through NAPIT Insurance. Originally established in 2005, the aim of NAPIT Insurance is to provide members with access to advice that is relevant for their specific line of work and will help them protect their business.

The IET and BSI (British Standards Institution), who co-publish BS 7671, have now issued the Draft for Public Comment (DPC) for Amendment 2, giving the electrical industry the opportunity to read through the proposed changes and provide feedback ahead of publication. The DPC period runs from 21st September to 11th December 2020.
