NAPIT Raise Over £2,500 for The Electrical Industries Charity
NAPIT have raised over £2,500 for The Electrical Industries Charity so far this year through various fundraising activities and events!
In May, NAPIT staff and partners took on a 30-mile walk along the Jurassic Coast to raise money for EIC and collected over £1,797 for completing the challenge within 13 hours.
This summer, NAPIT held a summer carnival in honor of EIC to raise even more money for the charity. The carnival hosted by NAPIT for staff and partners took place in Mansfield and involved a day filled with games, activities and raffles for staff to pay a small fee to take part and win prizes.
Raffle tickets were available to purchase for £1 per strip in which staff could win a day’s annual leave, or activity days such as paintballing or even a weekend away.
The fundraising was a sterling effort on everyone’s part and as a result NAPIT raised an impressive £759.92 for the EIC.
The EIC are the only charity of its kind, offering a range of services to people in the electrical and energy related industries including, assistance and guidance with health, employment, education and financial issues. Their services are available to help both NAPIT members and staff in times of need.
