Building Fabric Installer

Most building fabric improvement work, such as draught proofing and solid wall insulation, falls under the Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM).

You must join this scheme if you want your customers to be able to access incentives for your installations and some companies require PAS2030 approval to contract work which is being carried out under Energy Company Obligation (ECO). Several measures in this sector are also notifiable under the Building Regulations. All microgeneration installations are classed as notifiable works under the Building Regulations (England and Wales) and your NAPIT membership will allow you to notify through the Competent Person Scheme (CPS).
