NAPIT RECOGNISE NEED FOR COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC TRAINING WITH NEW FIRE ALARM AND 3-PHASE COURSES
NAPIT are planning ahead for 2010 by scheduling their training dates for the coming year, which gives you the opportunity to pre-book courses to fulfil all of the training needs you or your company may have.
As part of NAPIT’s continuing drive for improvement, a review on the course portfolio has been completed. One of its main outcomes sees the ‘Introduction to Fire Alarm Systems’ (NA-FA1-2) and the ‘Design, Commission & Inspect Fire Alarm Systems’ (NA-FA2-2) combined into one course. This means the previous two-part 4-day course has been improved into a single 3-day course. By acknowledging trades-people need to take as little time away from work, the single course gives a large benefit to our customers by packaging the same amount of relevant information into a shorter period.
The new ‘Design, Commission & Inspect Fire Alarm Systems’ (NA-FA-3) includes training on BS5839 part 1 – ‘commercial and industrial buildings’ and part 6 – ‘dwellings’, vital for electricians and fire alarm installers as an integral part of their business.
NAPIT also wish to offer their customers a range of courses which enables the development of skills in new areas, so a new 3-phase course has also been introduced. This course is aimed at electricians who have worked primarily on domestic single phase installations, and have little or no experience working with 3-phase installations, and want to expand their skills and abilities to open up industrial work.
