NAPIT Widens Its Horizons
NAPIT will be launching a new membership package aimed at the larger electrical contractors. Already well established in the SME sector, the push is aimed at further strengthening NAPIT’s position as a key player in the electrical market.
Members will benefit from a flat fee structure, which isn’t dependent on annual turnover figures and NAPIT will be underwriting work warranties, on behalf of members, for electrical work carried out across the domestic, commercial and industrial markets. A bond scheme is also being introduced, to support larger members on major construction projects.
NAPIT Chief Executive John Andrews said, “We are developing an extremely attractive package aimed at encouraging larger electrical contracting businesses to join NAPIT.
“By widening our horizons, and targeting all electrical contracting businesses - whatever their size - with a range of services and benefits relevant to them, we are making NAPIT more relevant across all sectors of the industry and even harder to ignore.”
