NAPIT Logo Approved For JIB Gold Cards

Any cards issued by the Joint Industry Board (JIB) to NAPIT members will now also include the NAPIT logo, following an agreement by the two parties.

The JIB Gold cards are designed to give construction supervisors a quick and reliable indication that the Electrical Operatives working on a construction site have been assessed as competent and safe to do so.

The Chief Executive of the NAPIT Group, John Andrews said: “As one of the largest associations for Electrical Contractors in the UK, we thought that we ought to encourage our members to sign up to the JIB Gold card scheme as part of our ongoing drive to encourage conformity and high standards within our industry”.

“Being able to display that they are NAPIT members as well further underpins the confidence that construction site supervisors can feel having Gold card holders on site”.

“Upholding standards is NAPIT’s key philosophy, which is why an active involvement and relationship with bodies such as the JIB is so important to all parts of our organisation.”

Chief Executive of the JIB, Ron Allender added, “For our ECS Gold and Platinum Card holders to additionally demonstrate their NAPIT Membership gives added value to the status and high standards applicable to members of both organisations and enhances the certainty of competence and expertise that clients can expect from our Members.”
