TrustMark Appoints New Board Member
Frank Bertie, the Managing Director of NAPIT Inspections, has recently been appointed as a TrustMark Director.
TrustMark is an initiative between Government, consumer groups and industry designed to protect consumers from cowboy builders and help people find reputable firms to do repair, maintenance and improvement work in the home or garden. All TrustMark registered firms are checked and monitored by approved scheme operators, and must comply with their codes of conduct and complaints procedures.
Ian Livsey, Chairman of TrustMark, said: “I am delighted with the new appointment. Frank will bring wide-ranging relevant knowledge and skills. The TrustMark board is now complete; we have three directors with solid experience of consumer protection issues, and three representing the trade and the reputable tradesman. This will ensure coherent and balanced decision making at board level.”
